Forest City - Cut Your Own
The 20 acre original farm is nestled in the hilly, wooded area adjacent to Pilot Knob State Park at 22630 Oak Ridge Valley Road, Forest City and is managed by our son Blair.
Established in 1979, this somewhat remote location offers cut your own Fraser Fir, Canaan Fir, White Pine and Scotch Pine that range from 4 feet to 13 feet in height. Trees are replanted each year to replace the mature trees harvested.
Hours
This location is open 9-4:30 weekends only starting Saturday before Thanksgiving. During the season, check for updates on Facebook.

Clear Lake Precut Lot
Our Clear Lake Precut Lot is located on the West edge of Clear Lake on Highway 18, at 3 Four Winds Drive. Here you will likely meet our daughter Brooke, son-in-law Nate, and grandkids Avery, Gavin, Cameron.
In addition to 4-13 foot Fraser Fir, we typically have 5-9 foot Scotch and White pines sourced from our own farm or from a friend in Wisconsin. Also made on site here are nicely decorated Porch Pots offered at a very reasonable price.
Hours
While we staff the lot on weekends starting the Saturday before Thanksgiving, our precut lot is open 24/7 during the week on a self serve honor system. During the season, check for updates on Facebook.

Coming in 2026?
Located at 519 Hwy 9 Fertile, Iowa adjacent to the now closed Pronto Convenience store. We started planting trees here in September 2019 and have added more each year. They have thrived in the well drained soil of this site.
If tree growth remains as it has, we will likely be able to open for the 2026 Christmas season.
